OGG Creature Design - GYRIS
The Oggs are marsupial like creatures of the world of Gyris. The Bura ride them like horses. Inspiration came from Wombats and Staffies. The world of Gyris is based on Australian flora and forna.
The purpose of the design was multi purpose. The Ogg was developed into a NFT to help fund game development set in the Gyris world. These NFTs complemented already existing IP.
Sculpted in zBrush, fur and rendering in Cinema4D / Octane. The choice to choose 3D was to facilitate the generation of many variations. Seperate layers of designs and assets where fed into a custom script to generate thousands of different Oggs.
